Eric M. Wilson is a senior public relations educator at Wichita State University in Kansas, an experienced regional and national conference presenter, and founder of media training and consulting firm V1 Communications. He is a past president of the PRSA Kansas Chapter, immediate past chair of the PRSA Southwest District, a 2019 and 2021 Silver Anvils judge and a 10-year veteran PRSSA adviser. His current research interest is Generation Z -- the student and young professional group with which he has primarily worked. Wilson has 15 years of public relations, teaching and media training experience, in addition to a public relations internship at Southwest Airlines and two national business journalism fellowships at the Donald W. Reynolds Center at Arizona State University. He is a three-time (2018-2020), highly rated PRSA iCon and multiple-time PRSA Southwest District Conference speaker in the areas of reputation management and Generation Z talent. Wilson has conducted professional development sessions for hundreds of students, PR professionals, government officials, marketers, Division I student-athletes and aviation professionals. He is a proud husband and father of two sons, an airline dork and a long-suffering Kansas City Royals fan.
