Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of everyday work for marketing and communications professionals, but it also raises new questions about trust. As AI tools shape how we create and share information, how communicators use them directly impacts credibility.

In this program, Jeromee Scot, Assistant News Director at KOTV and CEO of Scot Media Tulsa, will explore how AI is being used in communications work and what it means to use these tools responsibly. Grounded in the PRSA Code of Ethics, the session will help communications professionals make informed, ethical decisions about AI use, with a focus on transparency, authorship, bias, privacy and trust. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to navigate these considerations in their own work while maintaining professional integrity.

About Jeromee Scot

Jeromee Scot is a two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, Assistant News Director at KOTV and CEO of Scot Media Tulsa. With more than 20 years of experience in broadcast news, communications and media strategy, he has led coverage of major breaking news and guided teams in delivering trusted journalism.

Throughout his career, Jeromee has held key roles in communications and media relations, including Chief Communications Officer for the Community Service Council, Media Relations Manager for Hillcrest HealthCare System and Communications Director for Susan G. Komen Oklahoma. He is also FEMA-certified as a Public Information Officer, with expertise in crisis communications.
