Robert P. McCulloch, prosecuting attorney of St. Louis county will speak on the recent crisis situations in Ferguson, Missouri.
Mr. McCulloch's presentation will focus on the investigation and presentation of the evidence to the grand jury including the work of local and federal agencies, allegations of leaked information, ethical and legal considerations regarding the intense media attention, the impact of social media, civil unrest following the incident and the grand jury announcement and other issues surrounding the investigation.

More about Robert P. McCulloch
Mr. McCulloch received his Bachelors Degree in 1974 and JD in 1977, both from St. Louis University. He clerked for the Honorable Joseph G. Stewart of The Missouri Court of Appeals before becoming an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in St. Louis County in 1978. McCulloch was in private practice from 1985 – 1990 when he was elected Prosecuting Attorney of St. Louis County. He has held that Office since January, 1991.
As Prosecuting Attorney he is responsible for the prosecution of all felony and misdemeanor offenses occurring within St. Louis County. He has a staff of 101 including 54 assistant prosecutors.
In addition to serving as St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney, McCulloch also serves on the Board of Directors of the National District Attorney's Association (NDAA) and was President of NDAA in 2003-2004. He was president of the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys in 1995 and 2012.
